ABOUT

Gwyn Foley is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in Film and Digital Media Production and a minor in Theater Arts. She has been working as a full-time video editor and producer since graduating in the spring of 2020.

While studying at UCSC she directed, wrote, and helped produce numerous student film productions. She also produced her own show as a part of UCSC's student works theater festival held annually on campus during the spring of 2018. Then in her final year at UCSC, she co-wrote and co-directed her first full-length theatrical production during the winter of 2020.

From September 2018 to May 2019 she completed a study abroad program in the Czech Republic at FAMU International Prague and Charles University. She interned with Urban Space Epics, an experimental cinema and performance art group, based at the Meet Factory in Prague. At Urban Space Epics, she was a part of the organization's live media production team and was responsible for event documentation, assisting with event pre and post-production, and creating promotional content. Since graduating, Gwyn has pursued a full-time career in video production. She worked as a video editor and post-production manager for an international marketing agency and produced thousands of videos geared toward social media and ad campaigns during her time there. She also continues to collaborate remotely with Urban Space Epics by editing some of their current projects. Most recently she has partnered with the independent production company, Oobie Doobie Movies, to assist with their latest series of films.
